In the wake of the Royal Commission findings we as an industry are taken a back and lost for words when trying to decipher what agendas are at play here.
Regardless of the political agendas wreaking through the findings one thing is certain, CCF Mortgage Brokers will be continuing business as usual in the hope that common sense prevails.
For all of our loyal clients and supporters out there I want to reassure you all that we are going nowhere and will continue to service your needs in the fashion that you are used to since we opened 3 years ago.
We hope that common sense rings through and the political agendas present here does not destroy an entire industry which as a group does so much good for the general public, and up until now, or at least if the PC gets his wish, has been a free service. The PC is suggesting these changes to protect customers, however the end result will end up costing them more. Now more then ever is it time for everyone to support their mortgage broker of choice.
So often we see banks slowly claw back margin and never do reviews on mortgages while lining their bottom line, focusing on share holder price rather then the customers best interest. It is not unusual to see clients come to us to review and they are sitting on products that are outdated, over 5% in a market where it should realistically be below 4% (subject to review of course and individual circumstances).
Its time to kick back, tell a friend, family member or colleague to get a review done by a good mortgage broker, if they don’t know one please reach out to us and we can do a review of your position and see what savings can be achieved via a simple quick review process and assist us end the overwhelming power the banks seem to hold.
Its super easy and it will add support to an industry that is in need of such right now to ensure that we continue to show our worth in the market in a hope that the next decision made by our countries leaders is not the wrong one.
Our overall message is to re iterate we are not going anywhere and that our service levels will remain the same. We are confident that we will be here for the next 30 years plus – the rest is just background noise.
